Peshawar - The U.S. Consulate, Peshawar organized its first "virtual speaker program" - a Digital Video Conference (DVC) between students at the Lincoln Corner at Peshawar University and speakers at the U.S. Embassy, Islamabad. The purpose of the DVC was to give information about student visas and respond to questions regarding educational opportunities in the U.S. Representatives from the U.S. Embassy Consular Section and Department of Homeland Security as well as a representative from the United States Education Foundation of Pakistan led the discussion.
The conference was attended by 24 students from various departments of University of Peshawar at Lincoln Corner. The DVC was concluded with a question and answer session at the end, in which students showed keen interest in asking questions about education in the U.S.
